Voices From Suhbah
With the opening of Suhbah Islamic Center, founded and led by Maulana Rizwan and his team, we feel hopeful for what lies ahead. For so many families, there has been a longing for a place where our children can feel equally welcome and supported. A place where they can ask questions, build friendships, grow closer to Allah, and learn about their deen without feeling judged. Somewhere they know they can always come back to. What means so much to us is Maulana Rizwan’s commitment to creating opportunities for both girls and boys, women and men.
I have been sending all of my children to Suhbah Academy for over two years now, and the impact it has had on our family has been remarkable. The changes I have seen are not limited to my children—they have positively affected our entire household. What makes Suhbah so unique is that the children are not simply taught Islam from a textbook; they are taught how to live Islam. My children genuinely enjoy their time at the academy. They come home excited to share what they learned, and often remind us—and sometimes even insist—that we parents follow the Sunnah.
